We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Computer Science / ICT Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining our computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our ICT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software applications
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on computer systems, software applications, and ICT policies
• Develop and implement ICT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security and integrity of our ICT infrastructure
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide solutions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize ICT needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of ICT, and make recommendations for improvements to our ICT infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a similar industry or sector
• Proficiency in a range of ICT skills, including networking, database management, and software development
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
• Certification in ICT-related areas, such as CCNA, MCSE, or ITIL, is an added advantage
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required, with knowledge of other local languages being an added advantage
