Job Title: Camera Room Controller

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Camera Room Controller to join our team. As a Camera Room Controller, you will be responsible for controlling and coordinating camera operations in a television studio or broadcast environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the production of high-quality television programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and operate camera systems, including robotic cameras, to capture high-quality video footage
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure that camera shots are framed and composed correctly
• Adjust camera settings, such as lighting, focus, and zoom, to achieve the desired visual effect
• Troubleshoot technical issues with camera equipment and resolve problems quickly to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with the director and other crew members to achieve the desired visual style and tone for the production
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting, Film, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in a television studio or broadcast environment, with a focus on camera operations
• Proven knowledge of camera systems, including robotic cameras, and experience with camera control software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly
• Ability to work well under pressure, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
• Certificate in broadcasting or a related field from a recognized institution, such as the Ethiopian Broadcasting Authority, is an advantage
