Job Title: Branch Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the branch, including sales, customer service, and risk management. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch sales and customer service targets
• Manage and motivate a team of sales and customer service staff to achieve their goals and objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and the local community
• Monitor and control branch expenses, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing waste
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and performance
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity, providing feedback and recommendations to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• Proven track record of achieving sales and customer service targets
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in motivating and developing teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
• Knowledge of Ethiopian banking regulations and industry trends
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
• Fluency in Amharic and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
