Job Title: Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and expand the branch’s customer base
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff to ensure that they are engaged, trained, and developed to achieve their full potential
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, including managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues that may arise
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity, using this information to inform business decisions and stay ahead of the competition
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that the branch operates in a safe and secure environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• Proven track record of success in managing teams and driving business growth
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications, with experience of using management information systems
• Fluency in Amharic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
