Job Description

Main Responsibilities
– Responsible for assisting the General Support Officer/Financial Administrator in financial, administrative, logistical and secretarial activities.
– Maintain petty cash for a programme, dispatch cheques and bank orders, property file financial documents, gives support to the General Support Officer and Financial Administrator on financial Issue whenever required.
– Drafts letters and other correspondence for the advisors, takes action upon correspondence, arrange and manages telephone communication and appointments, manages the correspondence filing system, writes simple reports, keeps and manages the filing system, agenda and minute keeping for the programme.
– Follow up on travel and transport arrangements with GSO Reception 1st/secretary; facilitate workshops, attends BOAM visitors; ensure availability of stationery and office supplies for BOAMprogram.

Qualifications/Skills

Qualification: Diploma in Accounting from a recognized institution; Secretarial background is advantageous

– Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experiences in international NGOs; & earnest experiences in working with accounting/financial software;
– Other Skills: Proficiency in English Language & Communication both in Writing & Orally, and Report Writing skill, and personal qualities Including strong human relations & interpersonal skills, suitable for team work & synergy, responsiveness, proactive thinking are also required. Proficiency in usage of MS – Office tools and office communication instruments including fax, e-mail & internet services
