Job Title: Administration and Finance Head

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administration and Finance Head to lead our administrative and financial functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall administration, finance, and human resources of our organization, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and implementing best practices to achieve our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement administrative and financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the administration, finance, and human resources departments, providing guidance and supervision to staff members.
  • Prepare and manage the organization’s budget, ensuring effective financial planning, monitoring, and control.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including tax laws, labor laws, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on administrative and financial matters, ensuring that the organization’s operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with its strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior administration and finance role, preferably in a similar industry or organization.
  • Professional certification in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA, is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, labor laws, and financial regulations.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and financial management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
