Access to Finance Analyst
Brief Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Access to Finance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving access to financial services for our clients, with a focus on financial inclusion and poverty reduction. The Access to Finance Analyst will work closely with our team to identify areas of improvement, develop strategies, and implement initiatives to increase access to financial services, particularly for underserved populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify gaps in access to financial services and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to increase access to financial services, including product development, marketing, and outreach
- Collaborate with financial institutions, regulators, and other stakeholders to promote financial inclusion and improve access to financial services
- Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track progress and impact of access to finance initiatives
- Provide technical assistance and capacity building support to financial institutions and other stakeholders to improve their ability to serve underserved populations
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, regulators, and community organizations
Requirements
- Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
- At least 3 years of experience in access to finance, financial inclusion, or a related field, with a focus on Ethiopia or similar markets
- Strong understanding of the Ethiopian financial sector, including banking, microfinance, and mobile financial services
- Experience with market research, analysis, and strategy development, with a focus on access to finance and financial inclusion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including financial institutions, regulators, and community organizations
- Fluency in English and Amharic, with ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze data and prepare reports
