About Candidate
I am a young and highly motivated professional holding a Master’s Degree in Governance and Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations. Additionally I’m fluent in English, Somali, Amharic, and Oromo (Speaking and Writing). Throughout my career, I have gained diverse experience in public administration, operations management, customer service, logistics, legal support, and public sector governance, and also private sector operations.
Most recently, I served as a Finland Visa Operation Officer at VFS Global, where I managed the end-to-end visa application process on behalf of the Embassies of Schengen countries while ensuring strict compliance with established procedures, security standards, and data protection requirements through secured portals and systems. As an officer my responsibilities included receiving and verifying visa applications and supporting documents, maintaining accurate applicant records in secure systems, collecting biometric data from applicants, coordinating appointments, managing passport collection and delivery, and providing professional customer service to applicants. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment strengthened my attention to detail, organizational abilities, confidentiality, and capacity to deliver accurate and efficient services under pressure.
Prior to joining VFS Global, I worked as a HudHud Cloud Manager at HUDHUD CORPORATION, where I coordinated the implementation and commercialization of digital solutions, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, cloud services, CCTV solutions, and software platforms for different clients, such as government institutions, NGOs, and private-sectors. This role enhanced my coordination, stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, and planning skills.
I also served as Assistant Operations Manager of HudHud Express at HUDHUD CORPORATION, where I supported daily operational activities, coordinated logistics, monitored service performance, maintained operational records, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. This experience strengthened my organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities while developing my capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Earlier in my career, I worked as a Development and Government Affairs Monitoring Expert in Gursum Woreda Administration Office in the public sector where I monitored development programs, prepared performance reports, coordinated with government stakeholders, and service delivery. I also served as a Legal Attorney (in Contract) at Ethio Telecom, providing legal and administrative support, reviewing contractual documents, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws. In addition, I worked as an Education Programme Coordinator in Kedaduma Woreda Education Office, where I coordinated education initiatives, monitored project implementation, prepared reports, engaged stakeholders, and supported effective program delivery.
Across these roles, I have developed strong competencies in office administration, records and document management, customer service, operations coordination, report writing, data management, stakeholder communication, compliance, and problem-solving. I am highly organized, adaptable, and committed to maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, and efficiency. My multidisciplinary experience, combined with my academic qualifications and strong work ethic, enables me to contribute effectively to organizations that value excellence, integrity, and high-quality administrative and operational support.
