Job Title: Obstetrician/Gynecologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to women, including prenatal care, delivery, and treatment of diseases related to the female reproductive system. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to women, including routine check-ups, prenatal care, and delivery services
- Diagnose and treat diseases related to the female reproductive system, such as cervical cancer, endometriosis, and menstrual disorders
- Perform surgical procedures, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and other gynecological surgeries
- Conduct routine examinations, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to provide coordinated care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in obstetrics and gynecology
Requirements
- MD or MBBS degree in Medicine, with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized university
- Must be registered with the Ethiopian Medical Association and have a valid license to practice in Ethiopia
- At least 3 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecological procedures, including surgical techniques and medical management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound medical decisions in emergency situations
- Fluency in Amharic and English, with ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
