Sales Operations & Data Analyst

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations & Data Analyst to join our team at Beleqet Jobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and developing insights to inform business decisions. This role will work closely with the sales team to optimize sales processes, improve sales performance, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop actionable insights to inform business decisions
• Develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and metrics to track sales performance and progress towards targets
• Collaborate with the sales team to optimize sales processes, improve sales efficiency, and reduce costs
• Identify and prioritize sales operations projects, and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
• Provide data-driven recommendations to sales leadership to inform strategic decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Administration from a reputable Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in sales operations, data analysis, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong business acumen and understanding of sales operations principles and practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• Certifications such as Certified Data Analyst (CDA) or Certified Sales Operations Professional (CSOP) are an added advantage
