Job Title: IT Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and other technology infrastructure
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates of IT systems to ensure security and efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize IT needs and projects
  • Implement new technologies and solutions to improve IT capabilities and services
  • Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection regulations and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and other technology infrastructure
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks and ITIL certification is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
