Job Title: Learning and Development Coordinator

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult education, instructional design, and facilitation, with excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to address the learning needs of employees
  • Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and other learning events using a variety of methods and techniques
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and review training content
  • Manage the logistics of training events, including venue, materials, and equipment
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of employee training and development activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Adult Education, Human Resource Management, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or educational setting
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs for adults
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English and Amharic (spoken and written)
