Biniyam Getachew

I am a software engineer and recent Computer Science and Engineering graduate from Adama Science and Technology University with hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack applications across professional roles and independent projects. My stack spans React, Next.js, and Redux on the frontend and Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Docker on the backend, with additional experience in AI and machine learning tooling including LangChain, PyTorch, and RAG pipelines. I have worked at Gada Special Economic Zone Authority and Ethronics PLC, and independently built Afri-Verify, an AI-powered trade compliance platform that automates AfCFTA Rules of Origin verification. I am particularly drawn to the intersection of software development, fintech, and the growing Ethiopian and African tech ecosystem. Based in Addis Ababa, I am currently open to full-stack developer roles and internship opportunities where I can contribute meaningfully and keep growing.
